Join Okanagan Changemakers Tuesday, Feb. 23 to co-create and brainstorm creative ideas for a local social enterprise, and ChangeUP winner, the Clubhouse Childcare Centre.

The Clubhouse Childcare

The Clubhouse Childcare Centre is looking for community driven ideas to improve operations and social impact at their farm operation, which connects children with ecology, while growing farm fresh produce.

Consider this a fun, collaborative, working session. Staff from the Clubhouse will share the story of their farm and help to paint a picture of how your creative ideas can help them deepen their impact. You will break up into small groups with post-its, flip chart paper, and markers and share your ideas with the group at the end.

The Clubhouse Childcare Centre is a nonprofit and charity that serves more than 400 children at seven locations around Kelowna.  Its farm operation provides childcare and education on a working farm and sees more than 1,000 visiting children from schools and centres each year.

Doors open at 4:45 pm at 1Space. – presentation / brainstorming starts just after 5:00 pm.

This meetup is about action and impact. You will brainstorm with others who care about their community. You will directly contribute to ideas and actions for an operating social enterprise.
